We love the bike and we love Ireland.
now it’s YOUR turn to enjoy our beautiful country!
Ride Wild is brim-full of people who love cycling. We know all the back roads, all the good coffee stops, all the great lunch stops and all the best traditional Irish Bar's on every last mile of the Ancient East and the Wild Atlantic Way!
We don’t like to boast, but we really like this recent award –
Ride Wild was recently awarded Ambassador status for Ireland from leading US route mapping company, Ride with GPS. Ride with GPS operates the best bike route-mapping tool for cyclists around the world, and they award Ambassador Status only to people who demonstrate a deep knowledge of cycling, cycling routes and of their locality.
This award means that our routes along the Wild Atlantic Way are featured on their worldwide route maps, and we will be the first and only Ride with GPS ambassadors in Ireland.

Ireland’s stunning Wild Atlantic Way coastline offers without doubt, some of the most amazing Cycling routes to be found anywhere on the planet. The Wild Atlantic Way is Ireland’s Route 66, and includes such wonderful destinations as the Skellig Ring, recently announced by Lonely Planet as one of their Top 10 worldwide destinations for 2017.
Ride Wild is managed by Michael O’Boyle, a (young) veteran of European cycling events.
Michael has worked in France, Spain, Italy and the UK and is now based in Ireland where he set up Ride Wild with his friend and business partner Keith, manager of the sister company Golf Wild. Over the last few years Michael has worked with Tourism Ireland, planning cycling routes on the Wild Atlantic Way and on other cycling events in Ireland. Michael is the Tour Director of the Cross Atlantic Cycle which was nominated by the Sunday Times as one of the top five cycling events in Ireland.
